Jeremy Meeks: Hot mugshot guy out of jail, ready to start modelling career

HE’S been dubbed the sexy felon, hot convict and baby-faced criminal, but after shooting to worldwide recognition thanks to his unique mugshot, convicted criminal Jeremy Meeks is out of jail and ready to start his modelling career.

Meeks, 32, was sentenced to just two years in prison on a weapons charge in 2014.

When stories of his arrest were published, attention quickly focused not on the crime, but the perpetrator’s handsome photo.

Comments like “Is it illegal to be that sexy?” appeared on news stories about the hot mugshot phenomenon around the world, and a social media campaign was launched to #FreeJeremyMeeks.

Now, Meeks has done his time and according to reports, has been released from prison.

In recent weeks his official Instagram account has been teasing followers with comments indicating he would soon be out.

“Looking forward to reuniting with my family. Counting down the days. #6days #spreadtheword,” he posted on March 3.

“Looking forward to spending time with my kids,” he wrote yesterday.

Just hours ago, Meeks posted a picture alongside talent manager and photographer Jim Jordan, who says he has taken the former prisoner on as a modelling client.

“I want to thank my family and everybody for all your love, support and prayers. I’m overwhelmed and grateful for what lies ahead. I’m ready @jimjordanphotography and @whitecrossmanagement,” he wrote.

When Jordan shared the post, he told followers: “So glad to finally reunite with my client @jmeeksofficial This was his first photo taken after his release. So excited for this man!!!”
