Beyonc Sweeps The VMA's & Becomes Most Awarded Artist

After a performance that left the entire realm of social media and beyond in awe, Beyonce won an extra SEVEN awards tonight at the VMA’s. She won in the following categories:

Video Of The Year – ‘Formation’

Best Direction – ‘Formation’

Best Cinematography – ‘Formation’

Best Editing – ‘Formation’

Best Choreography – ‘Formation’

Best Female Video – ‘Hold Up’

Breakthrough Long Form Video – Lemonade

The talented singer/songwriter is now the most awarded artist in VMA history, surpassing pop icon Madonna. Beyonce has won 23 times as a solo artist and twice while with award winning girl group Destiny’s Child.

Apart from this recognition, she’s also the most female nominated Grammy artist, as well as the most awarded BET artist.
